SHARP 2007 EASTER SEASON

Sunday 1st to Friday 13th April 2007

ACTIVITIES DURING THE EASTER SEASON

For 2007 we will be having another two week Easter Season during which post-Excavation analysis, including Human Remains, and Pre-Excavation surveying will take place.

Human remains
Work will continue on the post-excavation process of recording human remains for both articulated skeletons and disarticulated remains. Experienced volunteers are always welcome to help.

Geophysics
Geophysical surveying will take place during the two week season. No experience is necessary, however please contact us immediately prior to the season starting to confirm opportunities to join in if your are particularly interested in this field of archaeological analysis.

Fieldwalking
Sunday 8th April to Friday 13th April only
This year sees a return to our popular fieldwalking, however this will take place in the second week only. As usual, there will be no charge for fieldwalking and volunteers with or without experience are always welcome. Further details will be available in March 2007 on application.

ALL OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES ARE SUBJECT TO WEATHER AND ACCESS. PLEASE BRING APPROPRIATE CLOTHING.

There is no application form for Easter. Please contact Brenda Huggins for further details

NB: We regret that SHARP is unable to offer volunteers/students accommodation and catering for the Easter season. Volunteers are asked to make their own arrangements and an accommodation list is available on application.
